So please just take our prayer cards there are some other ways that you can remember to pray every day we also we need to keep our pastors in prayer Pastor Steve and family I just want to thank you and honor you for all the work that you’ve been doing through this pandemic you guys are heroes to us each and every pastor so thank you. We were I was the kids director and I was creating a lot of the program a lot of the curriculum the paperwork and everything like that for my kids I don’t know if you’ve ever been to the Caribbean or an office supply store but it was very expensive just like everything else. We were paying about $150.00 to $200.00 a carton of ink and then we could get it home and it would already be dry and there’s no return policy so we were financially just unable to continue buying ink and we were able to partner with the g.m.c. they bought us curriculum that we were able to have brought down with the team to be able to share the gospel with the kids in our church and in our neighborhoods be g.m.c. uses the coins the little that we would see and expanded it to be able to share the gospel in they do it all over the world but the g.m.c. is a huge huge lesson for us that it doesn’t matter how much change you put in the basket all that matters is your obedience said dollar bills through. Now this was a verse that our leadership in Latin America Caribbean asked us to start praying at 10 o 2 every day because of Luke $102.00 It reminded us to pray for more workers for our region for Latin American Caribbean but God kind of opened my eyes this this year the beginning of this year and he said it’s not just for light in America Caribbean I need my workers in my churches to go into the harvest field around them I need my keepable to go to their neighbors to go to the people in the stores in their jobs I need my students that are for me to get their students the harvest field is still full but not a lot of workers are in it so it 10 o 2 every day my wrist band goes off my phone doesn’t on Sundays just because it’s not appropriate during Turk but I remember to pray wake up your children or God wake up your people that are sitting at church or the sit in church on Sundays to do your work during the week Ok so that’s 10 o 2 that’s my heart every day you guys can join me and not for workers overseas or for how you can pray or how you can be a light for Jesus where you’re at Ok so tend to every day but you know what if God does call somebody to go to that neighbor that’s a little scary the scary one you know what it is right your head at it if you’re a big you know one you’re probably going to go boy. And then God said I got a little change for you. It always happens like right when you’re on the rhythm you’re like oh I’m getting good at this the guys that would know when to turn now are going to see this of we just saw the transition coming guys started talking to us about our future and you started talking to us about long term which we thought we were going to be an auntie of for at least 10 years and he said nope this is your only term here which were like. So we started pressing it and we started asking God Well what is this look like what does this mean and we started fasting and praying and during this time God brought me into a wonderful vision and he brought me into his throne room and in his throne room is his throne it’s absolutely gorgeous but then surrounding his throne room are billions of other Thrones now some of these thrones already had people sitting in them they were running they had crowns of their heads holdings up there’s royal robes kind of like what 6 says and God raises up with crazed and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus and then it was like spotlights almost that kind of were shining on the empty seats they had crowns just sitting on them but they were empty so I started asking God Well what does that mean why are you highlighting these seats and he said well these seats are reserved for the children who don’t know who I am yet these are my last kids. So I want you and your family to go into the Caribbean and I want you to find them disciple them bring them to me in the knowledge of who I am to them as their father and help them find their places and I was like are it will. Do that. Is like yeah but I’m going to take it a step further I want you guys to church plant. I went. But that’s not what we thought we were going to be doing and what you’re certainly not what you said originally we’re not qualified for that in the list started going the but but but but we’re not ordained guess what just happened last week he’s already. God knows that Ok he knows that you don’t want to go to these places maybe that you’re kind of worried about and maybe he has called you there and he’s prepping you for that but maybe he’s asking you to go somewhere else maybe he’s asking you to go to Washington d.c. they needed how about like Portland Oregon they needed how about the neighbor across the street they needed to think about this right is it possible seriously is it possible they got is so brilliant and so great in everything that he is that he knows what your assignment is he knows what your call is who you’re supposed to reach and he said I’m going to make sure that you buy the house right next door to all is it possible courses but we think that our mission should be going out to the far reaches of the earth and for some of us that’s what it is for some of us it’s literally walking across the street the whole point though is are we doing what God asked us to do and we won’t know that unless we ask him and let him respond so I want to give us that chance as a service but I want to make sure that we do this by actually praying the way it’s supposed to be done that I know that sounds weird Ok let me give you an example if I were supposed to be communicating with my wife and I walked over to her and said Hey honey I need to do this and this and this and this and this thanks by that I just communicate with my way you know and guess what everyone in this room knows I’m in trouble. But that’s not communication. The idea is hey I am can you do this no I can’t ever so stuff to do but I want you know can you do this year Ok and we have communication we actually talk back and forth I talk she talks I talk so that’s communication but if I can do that laundry list of things for her and then leave her to her and why do we do with God because we do hey God I want to do this and then do this and then heal this person and then do this and then I need some money because I need rent and then any those things Amen and you just stop and go and God’s in heaven going you wanted to talk to you I want to tell you about these things I want to tell you that you know that person you wanted to be healed I want you to go and lay hands on them and let them be healed bit but now I can’t talk to you because you’re too busy so today when we’re actually going to pray for these things I want to actually have the majority of the time of us praying just in silence listening to what he’s saying to us because that’s way more important than anything we could say to him so let’s actually have the opportunity to ask him 3 things ready Who do you want me to pray for what do you want me to give into who where do you want to go that’s it pray those 3 things and then be silent for like 30 seconds and let him answer and trust me he will he wants to tell you your call Way more than you want to hear your call and then I one other thing that I want you to do after all this is over before you walk out the doors please tell somebody what God told you not is a bad thing not as a talk to me not like that but as a a a level of accountability that is a bad thing but like hey God told me he wants me to go work at a homeless shelter and the next week that person you know if you remember last week you were going to go and volunteered on Michelle did you call them yet. Oh no I forgot I’m going through that tomorrow right it’s not a bad thing it’s just there’s nothing better for you to do with whatever God told you to do. So let’s make sure we have people helping us to do it Ok so who do we pray for what are you going to give it to who where do you want to go and let’s tell somebody were to write or to pray for 30 seconds. Thank you Jesus again. When we started praying about what God was asking us to do we knew it was kids’ ministry we knew it was church planting but we didn’t know why like Ok kids are important yes but then he started reminding us about why they are so important and why the Caribbean Sea when we were serving in we would see what was offered in our context in our area for kids there was no kids church or if there was it wasn’t readily available kids would have to sit silently in a church service with their families or risk being called out by the pastor that doesn’t show God’s love nor does it pique people want to grow up in the church we would also see other people other churches that didn’t have programs at all and the kids would be allowed in the building they’d be outside doing whatever they could to keep themselves entertain which sometimes was throwing bottles at each other playing soccer or whatever but there isn’t anything that teach them about Jesus so as we were praying about God What does this look like whizzer future look like with kids church planting was a this is why we’re going to lose an entire generation more than just one generation of children in the Caribbean because there’s nothing for them there is no one teaching them who God really is for so long the Caribbean has grown in legalism and religious legalism that’s what they were known. But God’s culture is to change flip it revival revive the meaning of relationship with Jesus that’s been our Paul there was a little boy he is not a little boy anymore like 15 or 16 His name’s Coco Ok Coco grew up in the church or went to the church that we. Were working with. And Coco kind of for me represents every child in the Caribbean Ok We’re going to be starting encourage Sao that’s were planted and then we’re going to going out from there but Coco kind of is he stuck in my head as the child that I want to reach see Coco grew up in an abusive home being told he is worthless and then by everybody else most adults or kids in the church would just laugh at him so he became the class clown because better to be laughed at for something funny than just because of who I am but there is something about Coco he wouldn’t look us in the eye there is no eye contact ever and there is just something about it the bug me I wanted to reach him I wanted him to know I saw him so there’s one day I’m praying I’m like God please help me to reach cocoa please is what will help get him to you and that day it was Sunday morning our church was at night so I was preparing for my lesson and he said I want you to get a lollipop which Candy does actually get attention get a lollipop get on Cocos level and tell him that I see him and I love him so late Ok I’ll go to shot so that night Coco was sitting in the back of the room and I got a lollipop out and I went over to him and I got on my knees and for the 1st time he actually looked at me I guess all I thought helped because it was like right here but I said I just want to know that God sees you and God loves you and we do too. From then on he would look at us he would talk to us there was reporter there are more Cocos all over the Caribbean but guys it’s not just Coco in the Caribbean there are people all over the us and some of you might be sitting here wondering oh I don’t know who I am maybe you grew up feeling worthless you grew up feeling you had no purpose God has a purpose for each and every one of you our call has been to crown the Caribbean children who are lost and their families your job here is to crown those that are lost and if there is anyone here who has ever felt worthless that you have no purpose I love to pray with you after church because each and every one of you each and every one of you here has a job for Christ you each get to perform something in the Great Commission no one’s left out and no job is less than the other so as we close I want you to feel encouraged you all have a job I always have this out because it’s just an important reminder for me that there are people waiting to hear about Christ their seats are waiting for them so that they can rule and reign with Christ you guys get to help do that too. So Laura we just come before you today and we just thank you so much for a new hope Assembly of God and everybody here we just pray for a continued revival in this church floor God and as they’re moving forward I just pray for each and every person or God that is here Lord Jesus hear your purpose and your heart beat for them Lord God What you have for them is so special each and every person has an unique an individual calling or God so I just pray that you would make that loud and clear to them today and Father God you love each and every person here I just thank you so much for Pastor Steve and his family I honor them Lord God and I just pray for a new breath of creativity and wisdom to just flow through them Lord Jesus and in their family or God And in this entire church that it would just be a light house for you lord God that this would be a place for people to come and get revival in their hearts or God Find out who they are Lord Jesus so we just thank you we thank you for everything you do you’re doing today in Jesus name Amen.
