I’ve been the senior pastor here at New Hope since January, 2012.

I came to know Christ at the age of 13 at New Hope while it was still located along Main Street in Dayton, PA and received my calling into ministry in the summer of 2003.

At that time, I began my preparation for this calling by attending the Biblical Life Institute in Slate Lick, PA and then continued my education via correspondence courses, as my family grew, with the Bible Extension Institute of the Evangelical Church Alliance, in cooperation with Global University. In June of 2009, I received my credentials as a licensed minister with the ECA and transferred my credentials to the Assemblies of God in 2013. After furthering my education through Global University as well as ministering full time, I became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God May of 2018.

I’m currently working bi-vocationally here at the church as well as being a programmer for First Commonwealth Bank.  I love technology!  I can write in just about all programming languages for any device interface or database.  I’ve programmed everything from night vision devices for the DoD to public websites.  I utilize technology in many ways at the church as well to glorify God and to help others get to know Him.

I married my wife, Becky, in October 2003 and we’ve been ministering together ever since. Our first church home together was Faith Community Church in Freeport, PA where we have served together in many areas of church ministry and leadership. Our focus ministry, however, was on reaching the younger generation via youth ministry.

God has also blessed us with three beautiful children: Nathaniel in 2005, Megan in 2006, and Bethany in 2007.

We can’t wait to see what God has in store for us here at New Hope in the coming years!
