We want New Hope to be a place where Jesus is lifted high and exalted through our praise and worship.
In our services you will see a variety of Biblical expressions of worship.
Here’s a brief description and Scripture reference for a few of these expression of worship.
Singing – “I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)
Lifting of hands – “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord.” (Psalm 134:2)
Clapping & shouting – “O clap your hands all ye people; shout to God with a voice of triumph.” (Psalm 47:1)
Dancing – “Praise him with tambourine and dancing.” (Psalm 150:4)
Flags & banners – “We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God.” (Psalm 20:5)
Bowing – “Come let us bow down in worship.” (Psalm 95:6)
Singing in the spirit – “I will sing with the spirit and I will also sing with the understanding.” (1 Corinthians 14:15)
We want to have an atmosphere of worship where people are free to express their love of God with all their heart, mind, soul and strength.
Please feel free to be seated if you are physically unable to stand for the entire praise and worship service.
